Finally, the adventure is just about to begin and hopefully it is just going to be a new habit, a hobby for us. You know, going on adventures. Life is just awesome, you only need to make sure not to miss the show. Less work, less talk, less planning, more action.
I was told by the physio guy: the kind of legs Levi and I have are not made for running. Nice, it makes it a real challenge. Anyway, if everything goes according to plan I will be able to do the half-marathon instead of 10k in Uganda.
we went to watch the “pros” on the London Marathon. Man, they run fast! I even got emotional when I saw people almost dragging themselves and how they got strength from cheering and shouting their names by the spectators.
My dad is my idol. I've never seen a better man than him. As most boys I also tried to mimic my dad so I wanted to be as good to people as he is. He tought me to be a good boy even if sometimes I didn't want to be.
Starsky and Hutch, Dukes of Hazzards, Dragonball Z, Knight Rider, G. I. Joe, etc. Beyond the low standard-entertainment those are always about how the good wins over the bad. About justice. Through aggression and fun, yes. But, seriously, what shall I watch? Frozen and The Care Bears? I'm a man!!! ...or...at least a boy.
Listening to these speakers gives you the goosebumps sometimes , how they managed to do all those amazing adventures like jumping more than 2000 times from 16000 feet with parachute or running the marathon on the North Pole!! And then you realize you are just like them, you don’t need anything but courage to make the first step towards something new. You don’t have to figure all out at the beginning, you can always change the destination of your journey, just make the very first step.
Ok, so obviously a week off is always just a snap, especially when you prepare for doing many things, meeting many people and you`re busier than the Mayor of Kolorcity. But still, wtf?
Sleeping and relaxing just simply disappear from the priority ladder and so does healthy eating, regular exercising.
Needless to say that the alcohol level in my body easily reached the red zone by the end of the week, my liver was screaming.
