Probably Thai is not for everyone, but definitely for us. We just love it! Especially in Northern Thailand, everything is creamier and Khao Soi (curried noodle soup) is just… Wow!

The best par: we eat these every single day, sometimes twice. You know, here nobody cooks really.

Here are some of our favorites, all for around £1-£3, depenging on the restaurant.

How much is Thailand?

How much is Thailand?

We wanted to give you some insights about our costs, we know that’s what everybody’s interested about. Living on a budget, but still enjoying Thailand very much (I can’t emphasize it enough) our average monthly expenses are detailed in the post.

Also there are some useful tips, recommendations and links to get discounts for your next trip.

Astonished by Phuket

Astonished by Phuket

Our first two months of our new life in Thailand was rather adventurous. Wherever we go, we want to see its authenticity, its scenery, the hidden places and the way the locals live and not the tons of bars, escorts and drug dealers, the harassing tour operators,  animal shows like tiger kingdom or different elephant shows (huge f*cking NO-NO). All in all, Phuket has so much to offer beyond the touristy spots, you can find real gems, you just have to look a bit closer.

Living in Harmony

Living in Harmony

Another year passed, and I have to face now what I managed to do last year and what’s getting carried forward to 2019. I’m even more determined than I was last year and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a great year! My key word is HARMONY, main goals are getting off of the pill and getting the inner balance back on track, which many of you can relate to as well, especially women.

New Year, Better Me!

New Year, Better Me!

Resolution time. For me: Not giving a sh*t, reading and writing more, learning more, applying to mental models, being more success orientated whatever it means to me!

“…giving up other people’s definition of success is incredibly liberating and ultimately leads to the fullest expression of who you are and what matters to you. It’s not a one-time thing. It’s a daily habit of comparing less and creating more.”

The extraordinary 2018

The extraordinary 2018

When I closed our 2017 I declared that a stepping stone and the beginning of an extraordinary journey.

Hell, yes, only the beginning. Here we are, a year later living in Thailand and loving it! The word “extraordinary” became one of my favourite, a little bit describing and guiding us through the whole year. Just like “courage”, “sacrifice”, “appreciation” and The Greatest Showman.

Settling

Settling

December it is now. It just doesn`t feel like it. Here everything is green, the AC is on 24/7, the temperature outside is above 32 degrees. I don`t wear thermos socks, jumper, coat, hat and gloves. Ok, I wear gloves but only on trainings.

After two weeks, sweating became normal and we are setting up a new daily routine. That includes sunbathing and swimming.
