Settling

Settling

December it is now. It just doesn`t feel like it. Here everything is green, the AC is on 24/7, the temperature outside is above 32 degrees. I don`t wear thermos socks, jumper, coat, hat and gloves. Ok, I wear gloves but only on trainings.

After two weeks, sweating became normal and we are setting up a new daily routine. That includes sunbathing and swimming.

The Happiest Adventure

The Happiest Adventure

We ran the race last year and it was a game-changer. This year? We helped running it. Even better! Our biggest struggle is still the sadness about not being able to share these experiences with our families and friends properly and sometimes maybe inspire them to be a bit more adventurous. Of course we have pictures, videos and this blog but it is far not the same. WE see these places, WE live, work and laugh with these people, WE`re being amazed by the unique real-life stories, WE live these through, WE can touch, smell, feel them and WE are affected by them to thrive.

Uganda 2.0 - from the other side

All those emotions they had, I remembered all, the excitement, fear, tiredness, happiness, pride, too many things to process too quickly. I was there listening to them, they had so many things to tell what happened in the last few hours , and I lived it all again,  every moment of this magic. Only those can understand it really, who was there and lived this through. Once you finished this race, this whole week, you don’t want to leave all this behind.  Amazing to hear that people loved their time there and thanking you to make this happen, it’s definitely worth all the work I put into this. I can only recommend to anyone to face the challenge and sign up for this adventure. No one will regret it, but it will change their thinking about the world forever.

Invest In Yourself -Part 2

Invest In Yourself -Part 2

It's always a bit of a hassle to pick up new habits. It takes time, it changes a lot of things in your routine, you might need to give up other things in exchange for it and not to mention the energy (oooh and the willpower) you need to put into it. So, why? Hah! Why not? Do you seriously think that it is enough to go to work, earn money and the rest will work out itself? Or if you're retired then all you think is "That's it" and you're just going down and you can't achieve more and you can't enjoy more of this show?

Invest in yourself

Invest in yourself

There are many ways to change your future. If you do the same things today that didn't work yesterday or the day before or in the previous years it is pretty much guaranteed that you're not moving forward. Not trying to reach your full potential is simply a crime. As far as we know for sure we have only one life, there is no tomorrow or "next time". If you fuck up now, you're wasted.
It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 80, or if you have kids, investing time and energy allows you to be the best version of yourself.
