Another year passed, and I have to face now what I managed to do last year and what’s getting carried forward to 2019. I’m even more determined than I was last year and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a great year! My key word is HARMONY, main goals are getting off of the pill and getting the inner balance back on track, which many of you can relate to as well, especially women.
Resolution time. For me: Not giving a sh*t, reading and writing more, learning more, applying to mental models, being more success orientated whatever it means to me!
“…giving up other people’s definition of success is incredibly liberating and ultimately leads to the fullest expression of who you are and what matters to you. It’s not a one-time thing. It’s a daily habit of comparing less and creating more.”
“Leaving the City is difficult. I love London, slowly it became home. I`m going to miss my friends, old and new. I will really miss the Say Yes More movement. Admittedly, I cried when I said good-bye to them after Yestival, but you know this, we cried together.”
We're moving to Asia to live there and around the world in the next few years. I know, it's crazy, but we love it! Let me call this an Adventure. Living in different countries, in totally different cultures, starting a family who knows where and not knowing where we're going to end up, yes, it's not the usual stuff.
It's always a bit of a hassle to pick up new habits. It takes time, it changes a lot of things in your routine, you might need to give up other things in exchange for it and not to mention the energy (oooh and the willpower) you need to put into it. So, why? Hah! Why not? Do you seriously think that it is enough to go to work, earn money and the rest will work out itself? Or if you're retired then all you think is "That's it" and you're just going down and you can't achieve more and you can't enjoy more of this show?
There are many ways to change your future. If you do the same things today that didn't work yesterday or the day before or in the previous years it is pretty much guaranteed that you're not moving forward. Not trying to reach your full potential is simply a crime. As far as we know for sure we have only one life, there is no tomorrow or "next time". If you fuck up now, you're wasted.
It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 80, or if you have kids, investing time and energy allows you to be the best version of yourself.
